چکیده

We report the discovery of first hot subdwarf B (sdB) star with a massive compact companion in wide ( P = 892.5 ± 60.2 d) binary system. It was discovered based on an astrometric solution provided by Gaia mission Data Release 3. performed detailed analyses spectral energy distribution (SED) as well spectroscopic follow-up observations and confirm nature visible component sdB star. The is invisible despite its high mass M comp 1.50 −0.45 +0.37 ⊙ . A main sequence this would significantly contribute to SED can be excluded. must object, either white dwarf or neutron Stable Roche lobe overflow likely led stripping red giant formation sdB, exposed helium core giant. Based very preliminary data, we estimate that ∼9% sdBs might formed through new channel. This also prototype for progenitor class supernovae type Ia, which has been predicted theory.

HAT-P-13b,c: A TRANSITING HOT JUPITER WITH A MASSIVE OUTER COMPANION ON AN ECCENTRIC ORBIT

We report on the discovery of a planetary system with a close-in transiting hot Jupiter on a near circular orbit and a massive outer planet on a highly eccentric orbit. The inner planet, HAT-P-13b, transits the bright V=10.622 G4 dwarf star GSC 3416-00543 every P = 2.916260±0.000010 days, with transit epoch Tc = 2454779.92979± 0.00038 (BJD) and duration 0.1345± 0.0017d. The outer planet, HAT-P-...

Transition from inspiral to plunge for a compact body in a circular equatorial orbit around a massive, spinning black hole

There are three regimes of gravitational-radiation-reaction-induced inspiral for a compact body with mass m , in a circular, equatorial orbit around a Kerr black hole with mass M@m: ~i! the adiabatic inspiral regime, in which the body gradually descends through a sequence of circular, geodesic orbits; ~ii! a transition regime, near the innermost stable circular orbit ~isco!; ~iii! the plunge re...

KEPLER-63b: A GIANT PLANET IN A POLAR ORBIT AROUND A YOUNG SUN-LIKE STAR

We present the discovery and characterization of a giant planet orbiting the young Sun-like star Kepler-63 (KOI-63, mKp = 11.6, Teff = 5576 K, M⋆ = 0.98M⊙). The planet transits every 9.43 days, with apparent depth variations and brightening anomalies caused by large starspots. The planet’s radius is 6.1± 0.2 R⊕, based on the transit light curve and the estimated stellar parameters. The planet’s...
